Post breakfast on day, leave your hotel to explore the Elephant caves, located in also known as the 'City of Caves'. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was carved between 6th and 7th centuries. Cave number 1 is the most imposing one and is a depiction of the Brahmanical rock-cut architecture. Back to Mumbai by noon. Continue with sightseeing covering Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India, Hanging Gardens and Juhu beach. Night stay in Mumbai.
In the morning afte breakfast, Drive to Pune. Check in listed hotel. Pune is a sprawling city in the western Maharashtra. It was once the base of the Peshwas (prime ministers) of the Maratha Empire, which lasted from 1674 to 1818. It's known for the grand Aga Khan Palace, built in 1892 and now a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, whose ashes are preserved in the garden. The 8th-century Pataleshwar Cave Temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Overnight stya at Pune.
In the morning after breakfast, Driev to Mahabaleshwar. Check in listed hotel. Mahabaleshwar is a hill station in India's forested Western Ghats range, south of Mumbai. It features several elevated viewing points, such as Arthur’s Seat. West of here is centuries-old Pratapgad Fort, perched atop a mountain spur. East, Lingmala Waterfall tumbles off a sheer cliff. Colorful boats dot Venna Lake, while 5 rivers meet at Panch Ganga Temple to the north. Overnight stay at Mahabaleshwar.
On the day of the tour, post breakfast, get transferred to the airport to board a flight for Chennai. Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Have lunch and proceed for sightseeing in Chennai covering Amir Mahal - the official residence of the Royal family of Arcot, Arignar Anna Zoological Park - a zoological garden that is also known as Vandalur zoo, Fort Museum, Snake Park and finally Marina Beach. Post breakfast, leave for a day-trip to Kanchipuram, a small city of the southern region of India, housing several ancient temples. Spend the entire day in visiting some of the most beautiful temples. There are around 18 Vaishnava temples and 108 Shiv temples. You can also visit its popular handloom, cotton and silk emporiums to shop for some amazing saris. Overnight stay at Kanchipuram.
On the day of the tour, post breakfast, begin driving to Mahabalipuram. Once you reach, check - in your hotel. Later, leave for visiting the popular tourist attractions that include the Shore Temple - an 8thcentury temple built from granite blocks, Varaha Cave temple - a rock-cut cave temple that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Arjuna's Penance - built during the 7th century, this structure is also known as the Descent of Ganges. Once you have breakfast, spend the rest of the day in doing the activities of your interest- you can explore the surroundings on foot, indulge in fun activities on the beach, taste the local renditions and interact with the locals. Overnight in Mahabalipuram.
On day, after breakfast, begin driving to Thanjavur. Complete the check-in formalities once you arrive. In the afternoon, leave for a city tour covering popular attractions like Archaeological Museum, Brihadeeswarar Temple - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dedicated to Lord Shiva and more.
